Having won the open tender from Gazprom, STROYGAZMONTAZH became the general contractor for the construction of the linear part of the Sakhalin – Khabarovsk – Vladivostok gas trunk line on the section "505 km – 874 km ".
The gas trunk line is being built for Gazprom Transgaz Tomsk, the subcontractors are SCC Gazregion which will build the section “505 km – 684.7 km” and Lengazspetsstroy, which will build the section “684.7 km – 874 km".
The main diameter of the gas pipe is 1220 mm. Its route will pass through the Khabarovsk Territory; and in the process of construction, rivers and Sindinskoye lake crossings will be constructed by means of underwater technical operations (the length of the lake crossing is four kilometers). At the sites under construction the Sakhalin – Khabarovsk – Vladivostok gas trunk line will cross two active tectonic fault zones, where a pipe with 36 mm wall thickness will be laid.
Two pipe-welding bases have already been installed; temporary living quarters and temporary storage bases are being built; workers and construction equipment are being mobilized from the Power of Siberia gas trunk line, where work on the linear part is nearly completed.
