STROYGAZMONTAZH to build a cultural, educational and museum complex in Kemerovo
31.05.2019
STROYGAZMONTAZH and the National Cultural Heritage Foundation have signed a contract for the construction of a cultural, educational and museum complex in the city of Kemerovo.

This is the fourth city, in addition to Sevastopol, Vladivostok and Kaliningrad, where a unique cultural center will be built, focused on creating modern infrastructure conditions for developing the cultural environment and supporting talented children and young people in the regions of Russia.

“In the near future, we will start the site preparation in Kemerovo: fencing of the construction site and carrying out survey and design work. Here, on the territory of about 22 hectares, a museum complex, a movie and concert hall as well as educational institutions with a total area of about 110 thousand square meters will be built. Overall, it will be a new urban space with a modern infrastructure for creativity, education and family recreation. Gifted children from all over the Siberian region will study in this educational complex. The construction of new facilities is planned within the creation of the Siberian Cultural Cluster,” commented Fedor Novoselov, director of major repairs, reconstruction and construction of social facilities, STROYGAZMONTAZH.

In Kemerovo, the complex will include a museum-educational center (a branch of the State Russian Museum), an opera and ballet theater (a branch of the Mariinsky Theater), a Kuzbass Center for Arts, a Higher School of Theater and Music Arts, an Academy of Choreography, a branch of the Moscow State Conservatory named after P.I. Tchaikovsky and residential buildings for students and staff of the complex.
